Early career physicians and medical students are the future of medicine and they have unique needs, interests and challenges. Early Career Physicians (ECP) is a section dedicated to early career
physicians and medical students.
Purpose: support the development of the early career physician and physicians in training as advocates for the betterment of public health through education, networking, leadership development and programming surrounding the unique needs of the early career physician

REGISTRATION FOR THE 2027 WILL OPEN DECEMBER 2026.
MSDC members can purchase a ticket for themselves and a guest at their low rate. Want to bring a party? Contact Sean Handerhan for table and half-table prices.
Your ticket includes a seat at the dinner, access to the reception with food and open bar, a three course meal, valet parking, and access to the entire event.
Attendees can receive complimentary valet parking at the Willard Hotel on the night of the event.
To take advantage of this opportunity, pull into the garage on F Street NW and pull up to valet. See picture of entrance here.
When you leave the garage, take the elevator or steps to the ground floor of the Willard Hotel. Leave the Willard via the front or back door and walk to the entrance on 14th Street NW (see map here). When leaving the event, stop by the registration
table at the event for a sticker for your valet ticket. When you return to the garage, hand the attendant your ticket and you're good to go!
Run of show
6:00 - 7:00 PM - Networking reception. Guests will enjoy appetizers and an open bar (including non-alcoholic beverages) while chatting with other attendees. In addition to awardees, DC government officials, hospital and health system leaders, physicians, and other healthcare leaders will be in attendance to meet.
7:00 - 9:00 PM Dinner and awards. Our awards will be presented after you take your seat, with a delicious dinner and dessert service served in between presentations.
