Early Career Physicians

Early career physicians and medical students are the future of medicine and they have unique needs, interests and challenges. Early Career Physicians (ECP) is a section dedicated to early career physicians and medical students. 

Purpose: support the development of the early career physician and physicians in training as advocates for the betterment of public health through education, networking, leadership development and programming surrounding the unique needs of the early career physician

The STEM students of Coolidge NAF Academy of Health Sciences are holding a year-end celebration in recognition of their studies and MSDC is once again partnering to welcome them to medicine.

Physicians and other allied health professionals are invited to join for a "dinner with doctors", a discussion about healthcare careers, an awards presentation, and a mock white coat ceremony. This year there is a specific request for health care professionals who are willing to support one or more of the following parts of the program.

  1. Brief panel discussion about academic and professional journey
  2. White Coat Ceremony- Reading of the history
  3. Enjoy dinner and conversation with students and families
  4. Cloaking students who may not have a family member present to support
  5. Pin a Nursing Assistant student (Nurse professionals only)
