Early Career Physicians

Early career physicians and medical students are the future of medicine and they have unique needs, interests and challenges. Early Career Physicians (ECP) is a section dedicated to early career physicians and medical students. 

Purpose: support the development of the early career physician and physicians in training as advocates for the betterment of public health through education, networking, leadership development and programming surrounding the unique needs of the early career physician

Chair: Matthew Lecuyer, MD, Angela Wu, MD, and Avery Ford.

Welcome to medicine in DC!  You’re invited to refresh on Thursday, June 22 at Clubhouse: Coffee and Cocktails in the heart of Georgetown. Mingle with early career physicians and new providers, meet the MSDC leadership and physician community, and learn about medicine in the District of Columbia and how to make an impact!  

This event is open to physicians in training, early career physicians, new providers, and MSDC members who support early career physicians, are interested in mentoring, and want to meet new DC providers.  Registration is required.
