While the District has a high vaccination rate, COVID-19 is still spreading easily among the unvaccinated. Are we as providers doing our part by talking with our patients and clients effectively? Join the healthcare community as we host a conversation on how providers can apply a cultural competency lens to discussing the COVID-19 vaccines. The presentation and Q&A will help you better understand how the history of medicine in the US has caused some communities to be mistrustful of the medical establishment, and how you can engage with your patients to address COVID vaccine hesitancy with a better understanding of these concerns.
