Committee on Health Roundtable on Maternal Health December 14, 2023 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM

The Committee on Health is hosting a public roundtable on maternal and infant health on Thursday, December 14, 2023, starting at 9:30am.

Topics of discussion will include challenges in doula and midwife coverage under Medicaid, transportation for prenatal appointments, findings from the Perinatal Mental Health Taskforce, trends in maternal and infant health over five years, hospital-specific morbidity and mortality rates, and recommendations from the Perinatal and Infant Health Advisory Committee. Representatives from Department of Health Care Finance and DC Health will testify, along with expert and public witnesses.
