Project Firstline Infection Control Training Series April 20 to December 21, 2022

DC Health is offering an infection control training series for ALL healthcare workers in the jurisdiction. The Project Firstline Infection Control training series is hosted every month for 30 minutes every third Wednesday. You can attend this training through your phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop as long as you have Wi-Fi or cellular data. The training series will be hosted live through Microsoft Teams and not WebEx.  

Below is the tentative schedule for the All Healthcare Personnel Training Series:

May 18, 2022: Topic 10, Variants
June 15, 2022: Topic 3, How Respiratory Droplets Spread COVID-19
July 20, 2022: Topic 4, How Viruses Spread from Surfaces to People
August 17, 2022: Topic 7, PPE Part 1 – Eye Protection 
September 21, 2022: Topic 8, PPE Part 2 – Gloves & Gowns 
October 19, 2022: Topic 11, PPE Part 3 – Respirators
November 16, 2022: Topic 9, Hand Hygiene
December 21, 2022: Topic 13, Source Control
