The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of arguments, actions, and accusations for the DC Medicaid program. After this week, there are legitimate questions if your practice can see Medicaid or Alliance patients, or if you will be paid by the government for treating Medicaid beneficiaries. The current uncertainty around the managed care contracts is endangering the health of residents and unsettling the healthcare community at a time of constant uncertainty.

What can you do as a DC physician? Join our townhall to learn how and make your voice heard.

Speakers:

  • Moderator - E.W. Emanuel, MD; President, Medical Society of DC
  • DCPCA - Patricia Quinn; Director of Policy & Eternal Affairs
  • Washington Psychiatric Society- Mani Yavi, MD; Executive Committee Member

In addition, MSDC will hold its monthly advocacy open forum. MSDC members will have the opportunity to speak with leadership on the advocacy issues important to them. Attendees can also get up to speed on MSDC’s advocacy tracking and initiatives, plus current and upcoming legislative priorities.  MSDC advocacy priorities, resources and information is available 24/7 at https://www.msdc.org/advocacy.
