View the VIDEO RECORDING HERE

People have reacted to the COVID vaccine with a wide range of emotion: from hesitance to hysteria and everything in between.  The range of response stems from disparate sources of information and evolving guidance and knowledge.

MSDC's Practice Management Section will meet virtually to discuss the COVID vaccine rollout in the District. Dr. Hana Akselrod, a DC Health COVID Clinician Champion, will be available to address questions and hear your feedback.  This is your opportunity to share your experience with the vaccine rollout, challenges and successes that your staff and your patients have encountered, how to register to administer the vaccine on-site, and other top-of-mind topics.

Hana Akselrod, MD, MPH, is currently Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.  She is a member of the DC Center for AIDS Research and the GW Climate and Health Research Network. She serves on the GW Clinical Public Health faculty and has been actively involved in the institutional response to COVID-19, most recently as founding director of the GW COVID-19 Recovery Clinic.
