Meet a DC physician who has been an MSDC member since 2000!

1. Why do you belong to MSDC? What made you join, and what keeps you engaged?

I joined the MSDC and remain engaged as a member to be informed of medical related events in the Metro DMV area.

2. If you could have dinner with any historical figure (medical or otherwise), who would it be and what would you ask them?

If I could have dinner with any historical figure of my choice it would be Benjamin Franklin. He was a wise man. So, I would ask him to comment more on his view of democracy and how hard we have to fight to maintain it today in comparison to his time.

3. What's one piece of advice you'd give to a physician just starting their practice in the DC area?

To a physician starting a practice in the DC area, I would advise to avoid becoming isolated in a private practice setting in view of the problems presented by the unanticipated problems related to the COVID epidemic.
