The DC Health Information Exchange Policy Board is seeking new members!

In 2012, the HIE Policy Board was established by the Mayor to advise on the enhancement and sustainability of secure, protected exchange of health information among health providers and other authorized entities in the District. There are currently three open seats on the Board, one of which is designated for a health care provider. Some backgrounds currently of interest to the Board include behavioral health, oral health, pharmacy, and patient advocacy, among others. Board members must be DC residents, commit to a 3-year term, and attend quarterly 2-hour virtual meetings.
