Patients trust their Primary Care Provider (PCP) to manage their health concerns from head to toe as well as from the body to the mind and soul. The longitudinal relationship allows the PCP to build a solid foundation of trust with the patient, facilitating communication around sensitive issues. The primary care clinic can be a safe haven from siloed care and stigma.

At DACS, we empower PCPs to take ownership of their patients' substance use disorder treatment. The District Addiction Consultation Service (DACS) will be hosting a webinar discussing the topic of opioid use disorder treatment integrated with primary care, presented by Jasleen Salwan, MD, on September 27th from 12:00-2:00PM.
