Successful Electronic Quality Measure Reporting
Deadline for 2016 Meaningful Use

If you are an eligible professional (EP) that selected to report your 2016 Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) data via the EHR and/or plan on meeting 2016 Meaningful Use requirements, please read the following note to ensure successful participation.

Eligible professionals that participated in the 2016 Meaningful Use Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program must attest using theMedicare and Medicaid EHR Incentive Program Registration and Attestation System byMonday, March 13, 2017 at 11:59 PM (ET). Part of Meaningful Use success is reporting electronic clinical quality measures (eCQMs). If you have an attestation status of “Pending eReporting”, you have selected to report your Clinical Quality Measures electronically and CMS has not received your eCQM data. If you have only submitted the eCQM data for PQRS and do not also report for the Meaningful Use program by March 13, your attestation will expire and you will not meet Meaningful Use. We urge you to check and ensure you do not have any outstanding data requirements for satisfying Meaningful Use or PQRS.
