Now is the time to pre-book influenza vaccines for the 2007-2008 influenza season. Pre-booking your influenza vaccine is the best way to prepare for the upcoming flu season and to ensure that you receive your vaccines. Due to shortages of influenza vaccine during past influenza seasons, the DC Department of Health (DOH) has provided influenza vaccines to private providers, nursing homes, and other entities. However, the DOH cannot guarantee future funding for the purchase of influenza vaccine for mass distribution.
