Spread the Word about DC RxIn October 2006, DC implemented “DC Rx,” a pharmacy discount card program in partnership with the National Association of Counties (NACo). The DC Rx prescription card offers DC residents discounts averaging 20% off of retail prices. The card is available to District residents, free of charge, regardless of age, income or residency status. It works like a reusable coupon. Residents bring a tear-off card to their local pharmacies. They don’t need to fill out any enrollment forms or claim forms and it can be used at over 57,000 pharmacies across the United States. If you would like to distribute the cards to your patients, contact Dr. Antonio Lacey in the Department of Health, Health Care Safety Net Administration, 202-442-5961. Or, email Antonio.lacey@dc.gov. |
