Final Rules on Reporting of HIV/AIDS Cases Now in Effect
New rules on the reporting of AIDS and HIV cases in the District of Columbia went into effect on November 17, 2006. The rules amend Chapter 2 of Title 22 of the DC register by aligning the confidential names-based systems in which new cases of both AIDS and HIV are reported to the DC Department of Health or a designated agent.
